AP Research: Perspectives about global challenges

In AP Research, students have the opportunity to delve into a single research topic throughout the academic year. This year, they narrowed down their interests and developed research questions aimed at addressing gaps in existing fields of knowledge. The focus areas included Economics and Science. We are proud to showcase four presentations, ranging from energy reduction models to satellite shielding designs, and from methods of detecting Alzheimer’s to proposals for blood substitutes in regions facing blood shortages.

AP Seminar: Perspectives about global challenges

This semester students in AP Seminar completed research projects about a common theme: memory. They read and analyzed a variety of sources, wrote individual written arguments in which they analyzed and synthesized ideas from at least two different perspectives, and presented their work to peers and teachers. We are sharing interesting and engaging presentations that explore multiple facets and viewpoints on individual, collective, cultural, and historical memory.
