The moon is Earth's only natural satellite. The moon has no atmosphere. The same side of the moon always faces the Earth. The moon is about 238,900 miles from Earth. If you were standing on the moon, the sky would always appear dark, even during the daytime. The moon revolves around the Earth in about one month . It rotates around its own axis in the same amount of time. This is the moon´s Earth that is made of rocks and dust. Is any natural body that orbits Earth and is part of the solar system. It has many faces some of them are: new moon, first quarter and full moon then it increases and is full moon then third quarter and last new moon.
